Elizabeth Fenton
Dr. Elizabeth Fenton received her PhD in philosophy from the University of Virginia in 2008. Her dissertation examined the theory of overlapping consensus with respect to the philosophical and moral foundations of human rights. Dr. Fenton’s research interests are in political philosophy, ethics, and applied ethics. During her fellowship she will examine the relationship between health and human rights, particularly concerning the role of human rights in complex allocation problems.
