Minou Friele

Dr. Friele is a post-doctoral fellow at the Philosophisches Institut der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, Germany. Dr. Friele’s research focuses on the ethics of moral compromise. While visiting the Program in Ethics and Health, Dr. Friele will work on: “The Scopes and Limits of Bargaining – On the ethics of compromise requiring co-operation of ‘moral strangers,’ ” particularly as this relates to issues arising in the pharmaceutical industry and in the medical world. She will look at fundamental ethical problems caused by a discrepancy between the collaborators’ moral values and/or principles. Contact: Minou.Friele@uni-duesseldorf.de.
