Andras Miklos, PhD
Dr. Andras Miklos received his PhD in Political Science from the Central European University, Budapest, in 2006. Before joining the Program in Ethics and Health, he was a fellow at the European University Institute and held visiting fellowships at the University of Oxford and the University of Oslo.
Dr. Miklos currently investigates public health based justifications of the rights of states, and the extent these have been undermined by global collective action problems in public health. He also examines under what conditions current international health inequalities can be described as unjust, focusing on the role of social cooperation and the social determinants of health.
