Andras Miklos, PhD
Upon completion of his fellowship at the Harvard University Program in Ethics and Health, Dr. Andras Miklos obtained a position as Visiting Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Andras Miklos received his PhD in Political Science from the Central European University, Budapest, in 2006. He was a fellow at the European University Institute and held visiting fellowships at the University of Oxford and the University of Oslo. Dr. Miklos’ work encompasses public health based justifications of the rights of states, and the extent these have been undermined by global collective action problems in public health. He also examines under what conditions current international health inequalities can be described as unjust, focusing on the role of social cooperation and the social determinants of health.
