J. Paul Kelleher, PhD
After completing his fellowship in the Program in Ethics and Health at Harvard University, Dr. Kelleher joined the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is currently Assistant Professor of Medical History & Bioethics, and also holds an appointment in the Department of Philosophy at UW. Dr. Kelleher received a PhD in philosophy from Cornell University. His current research focuses on the source and shape of social obligations to promote health, and on the ethics of health resource allocation and priority-setting (especially related to the choice between prevention and treatment). His published work has appeared in Journal of Moral Philosophy, Journal of Applied Philosophy, Kennedy Institute of Ethics Journal, Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, and Ethics, Policy, and Environment.
